Plant Rental and Maintenance
Plant Rental Contracts
We offer plant rental and maintenance contracts for minimum periods of one to five years at a fixed monthly fee. The contracts are open ended, viz. they continue after the minimum period unless notice is given to the contrary.
The process starts with a free no obligation site survey, during which we will listen to your needs, assess the type of plants suitable for the locations, and advise as to the best style of planter to suit your premises.
Assuming that our quotation is accepted, Plants for Business will install the plant displays and then visit on a regular basis (usually every two weeks) to maintain the displays so that they remain as appealing as when installed.
Plant Maintenance
Maintenance includes watering, feeding, cleaning, pruning as required, and control of pests. If a plant fails, outgrows its location, or merely doesn't look its best, it will be replaced at no extra cost.
There is no separate charge for the installation process; you only pay the monthly rental and maintenance fee.
Plants Used
You will see examples of the kind of plants that we use throughout this website. The actual plants used in any installation will be a matter for agreement between ourselves and the client, subject to the design effect required and the prevailing site conditions (i.e. heating, draughts, and light levels).
Planters
Probably "pots and troughs" to you - 'planters' to us. Whatever you call them, the choice is vast. They come if a variety of shapes and can be made of metal, metal effects, wood, plastic, terra cotta, ceramic and GRP (fibreglass). The latter which, together with aluminium, are probably the most popular, are available in more than 50 colours and effects! There is definitely a planter to suit your premises and décor.
Planting medium
That's compost to most people. At Plants for Business we only use environmentally friendly non-peat based composts for our planters, and only use natural products such as decorative stones, cobbles and clay granules to top our displays.
