Plant Purchase

If you wish to purchase plants and planters, we will be pleased to conduct a site survey and advise on suitable plants and supply them in planters of your choice. We will then install them in your premises for you to maintain, or you may wish to enter into a maintenance contract with us to maintain the displays for you. We will then attend at regular intervals to water, feed, clean and prune the plants as required, and we will consult with you when we feel that a plant needs replacing.

Built in planting areas

Some buildings have a built-in feature designed for planting in their public or reception areas. Plants for Business will plant these for you on a hire or purchase basis, and provide regular maintenance. If the feature has not been lined to be waterproof, we can supply a made to measure fibreglass lining.

Artificial Plants

If natural and artificial light levels are so low as to be unsuitable for a living plant display, or where extremes of temperature are experienced, you may wish to consider artificial plants, which can be supplied in planters of your choice. The range and appearance of artificial plants today is so good that people find that they have to touch them just to be sure that they are artificial. Most of the larger examples are assembled onto natural wood stems. Unfortunately, whilst they look good, artificial plants do not give off oxygen or moisture!

They do, however, get dirty, and need cleaning from time to time to look their best. This is a job that we can undertake, either as a one-off or as part of a maintenance contract.

If you already have artificial plant displays that need cleaning and restoring to their original appearance, we can undertake this task. Such renovation would include treatment with a flame retardant.

Plant Lighting

As an alternative to artificial plants, there is special lighting that can be installed over a plant display in areas where ambient light levels are insufficient for healthy living plants. These lamps provide the plant with the correct range of light for healthy growth. Additionally, they can be used to make a "feature" of any plant display.
